In the designer's own words:
“Pinks and greens are always fresh and flowery and so I used this colour theme to design a sampler featuring one of my ‘folkie’ ladies pottering about outside in her pretty garden.
She has her topiary and trellis to look after and seedlings to pot on for the glass house. The doves and bees need care, and there are flowers to dead-head and cut for the house as well. She has made a paradise! What better than to set within a trailing border of roses and rosebuds.
This cross stitch chart has a full alphabet (and future year dates) for you to complete the sampler in the traditional way.”

We love the fresh and cheerful colors. This piece is square so we would suggest mounting it on a pillow cover, surrounded by fabric in matching color, a green gingham pattern for instance.
