Cross stitch designer Agnès Delage-Calvet has come up with a great idea, telling a story that unfolds in a band, ribbon-like, as you stitch it. Once stitched, it can be mounted accordeon-style as it it were a little book with "pages".
Mum's watering flowers, Dad's digging up leaks, the younger one is playing with a wheelbarrow while the dog looks on amazed at all the activitiy going on.
The pattern is full of exquisite details to stitch such as the espalier apple trees, the rows of carrots and turnips in the vegetable patch and the birds perched on the gardening tools.
