CHART PACK:
White Lace Square & Borders
CROSS STITCH PATTERN DESIGNED BY Agnès Delage-Calvet
Elegant and refined, here is the perfect motif to stitch on the cover of a box. The design is a clever combination of cross stitch and back stitch which gives the stitched piece its lace-like effect.
In addition to the main chart, designer Agnès Delage-Calver provides 5 extra border motifs which repeat so you can adapt them to any length required. If making a box, these borders can be used to decorate the sides, or line the inside.
The square can also be used for the center of a small square tablecloth. You can stitch matching napkins with the border motifs.
If framing, we recommend streching the fabric over a padded board, as in the picture, then fitting it into a framebox. The padding provides extra depth to the stitched piece.
