Lesley Teare is a British designer. She has been creating patterns for many years for UK magazines as well as publishing her own books. She is a very experienced cross stitch designer but also an expert in Blackwork.
The designer has a keen sense of colour, with very rich and joyful palettes. She also has a sharp eye for detail, especially when charting essential areas of faces and of flowers. Her designs are exquisitely detailed, with a rich combination of colors and attention to particular areas, combining cross stitch, backstitch and fractional stitches for superb stitched effects.
