Lesley Teare is an expert Blackwork designer ... with a tremendous love of color. So she set out to create some unique designs mixing background motifs of Blackwork with these brighlty colored birds and flowers.
We love the contrast between the bold colors and the intricate linework of Blackwork.
These detailed motifs require a certain level of expertise. They are however not too big and include large areas of cross stitch. This makes them a perfect project for stitchers looking for a little bit of challenge.
