The highlights of the cross stitching, such as the reindeer, are in bright reds from the DMC Color Variations range which lend the stitched piece a warm, rich texture. The other colors softly blend into the background, so the closer you look, the more detail you discover.
This piece was stitched on Vintage Country Mocha needlework fabric from Zweigart, gently blending the background with the stitching.
