This exquisite cross stitch pattern is part of the Happy Childhood series designed by Perrette Samouiloff, featuring yound children having fun at various activities. Here they are at the fair, riding horses on the merry-go-round (also known as a carousel) while a girl and a boy watch them eating cotton candy.
The pattern is stitched on light off white linen, and includes a couple of fractional stitches for detail.
For finishing, you can of course frame the work or mount on a cushion cover for decorating the nursery. Considering the design, the pattern also lends itself to mounting into a round cylinder, ideal for creating a cross stitch lampshade.
