Witch's bathroom
CROSS STITCH PATTERN DESIGNED BY Kateryna - Stitchy Princess
Kateryna is a cross stitch designer based in Ukraine who draws her inspiration in folk tales and nature. Baba Yaga is one of her favorite characters.
Hear Kateryna tell us about her Baba Yaga:
"Baba Yaga (the Bony Legged Witch) is one of the most famous characters of Slavic folk tales. She lives in the forest in a log cabin perched on chicken legs. Sometimes she is shown as ugly and evil but in other tales she can turn quite helpful. I gave my Baba Yaga a kind look."
Baba Yaga loves to relax in a warm bath, even busy witches need a time to relax after all. Her bathroom is state of the art as far as a witch is concerned. The bathtub stands on chicken feet. Rows of scary eyes keep watch, with even a pair reflected in the bathroom mirror. Shelves are filled with mysterious potions. Hanging below are witches necessities (poison mushroom and dried chicken legs), as well as Baba Yaga's boots left to dry. While spiders dangle overhead, Baba Yaga soaks in a sea of orange and green bubbles. The cat stands at a safe distance.
