Here's Spreading Joy, Barbara Ana Designs' cute cross stitch pattern featuring a reindeer as a messenger of Joy.
Like many other Barbara Ana patterns, it mixes touches of primitive style and some unique elements of the designer's very own style and humour. Check out the bright and happy look of the reindeer's eyes. Look even closer and you'll notice the reindeer is carrying a miniature snow globe on its back!
The piece can be stitched on light blue evenweave or linen, or alternatively on natural raw linen. The designed added a band of lace positionned vertically in the frame (see photo).
