Two of them are holding heart and star shaped ornaments hanging on strings from a kind of fishing rod. The third elf strechtes out her arms towards garlands of holly. In the center, the word Noël is spelt out in gothic letters. These motifs all gently combine with the outer frame, an ornamental design with arabesques intertwined with geometric floral and star shapes.
A master of color, the designer combines four different reds to achieve the vibrant color effects, together with detail in soft undertones.
