Who is the mysterious lady travelling? Where is she going?
Her porters are dressed with great elegance. The palanquin is richly decorated, with lacquered woodwork, a cupola-shaped roof, with gilded borders and lightly raised edges. Thick red brocade curtains protect the traveler from looking inside ... but she discreetly observes her world.
Creative Poppy suggestion:
Opt for an oriental frame, creating a "frame in the frame", as in this illustration, inserting a horizontal decorative band and 2 side bands. You can use pieces of fabric with Chinese patterns, or other ornate and shiny fabrics in matching colors.
