In the designer's own words:
“The famous opening lines of Jane Austen’s novel ‘Pride and Prejudice’ are here to work in the style of the samplers of the time, including the bold berry border.
It was common to omit the letter ‘J’ from an alphabet, so I did the same. The date is when Pride and Prejudice was first published.”
