BLACKWORK PATTERN DESIGNED BY Tam's Creations
This design by Tam's Creation is a very fine piece of needlework. A combination of Blackwork (backstitch) and Cross stitch, it is stitched in soft and warm hues of the Sampler thread and Simply Shaker ranges.
The piece is designed like an imaginary formal garden. Fitted between the ornamental blackwork motifs, in the inner court, are four "solar" motifs in the center. Each angle of the "garden" also features a main flower or sun-like motif.
As an alternative to framing, the square pattern can be used as a center piece for a round or square tablecloth. It will also make a beautiful cushion cover.
