A delightful border pattern that takes you from month to month, through the year. Each season is illustrated by Perrette Samouiloff's favorite themes such as birds picking into cherries, butterflies and dragonflies buzzing in the flowers or delicate branches of hazelnut and fruit.
Stitching tip: This monochrome can be stitched in solid red on raw linen. But you could also play with the colors, picking a matching range of colors for each season. It would look very nice using overdyed or light multicolor threads.
Finishing:
You could also stitch the piece in 4 sections (each border pattern separately) and turn the project into 4 pictures that your rotate with each season.
