This cross stitch design by Perrette Samouiloff is dedicated to the joys of learning at school.
As they count apples and marbles, or pick flowers, the children seem to be playing with the numbers and letters they are learning. The banner shaped pattern is lined on the left and lower side with with beautiful red cursive letters, of the type practiced at school in the old days.
The chart can be stitched in its original format, however it can also be easily adapted to suit virtually any project, including book covers, pencil cases, school bags....
