In the Christian tradition, the three kings from the Orient - or three wise men - are indeed the magi who who follow the Star of Bethlehem and find newborn Jesus laid in a manger. Their arrival is celebrated as ephiphany
This is an extremely decorative pattern and beautiful piece to stitch. The cross stitch chart features the 3 wise men, beautifully clad in their ornate cloaks, each bearing their gifts of gold, incense and myrrh. The mens clothes are beautifully detailled with rich velvety tones of red and gold.
The chart comes with a choice of two layouts:
