In the designer's own words:
“A small square country-style sampler featuring our six little cats - the oldest is a French cat (Cachou), the other five are the Cornish mother cat and four of her kittens. Like all cats, how they love a quilt - I thought some patchwork would suit them well!”

The pattern being square, and measuring about 10 1/4 inch (26 cm) when stitched on 14 ct (28 ct linen), makes it perfect for a cushion cover. Frame the sttched piece, patchwork style, using 2 or 4 different fabrics, in coordinated colors and simple designs (stripes, polka dots, gingham etc.)
