An incredibly rich blackwork design combining a great variety of backstitch motifs.

This pattern is stitched with a single color of floss, yet it seems as if several colors were used. Designer Tam's creations skillfully combines lower and higher density lace-like motifs to create those beautiful color effects.

The pattern does not present any technical difficulties and is perfect for any stitcher with some experience of blackwork looking for a little challenge. the finished piece will make a beautiful center for a cushion cover (using a color coordinated border).
