CROSS STITCH PATTERN DESIGNED BY Faby Reilly Designs
This pretty Wedding ring cushion designed by Faby Reilly is worked in cross stitch, with a mix of lisianthus flowers and delicate hydrangea petals, adorned with small seed beads for pistils.
A matching wedding sampler, sold separately is also available, so you can stitch the pair as a gift.
The chart includes two different square patterns. When mounted into a biscornu shape, angles will combine to reveal the pattern on the side. The biscornu has a hollow in the center, where the two wedding rings nest, secured with a ribbon. A detailed tutorial with photos comes with the cross stitch pattern, for a perfect finish.
The stitching is mainly cross stitch, but there are additional details, including variations of the eyelet stitch such as the fan eyelet stitch and round eyelet stitch over sequin. A tutorial is included with the chart for all specialty stitches.
Threads used for the embroidery are DMC Mouliné threads and the matching DMC Coloris thread. The work is further embellished with seed beads.
