Inca Sampler
CROSS STITCH PATTERN DESIGNED BY RIVERDRIFT HOUSE
In the designer's own words:
"Strong, hot colours against a cream background make for bright and fun stitching, with sun gods looking down on the llamas and other motifs inspired by the rich art of the Incas.
I also included Viracocha, Inca God of Creativity, dripping with gold. The varied border is made up of geometric patterns similar to those used in fabrics, which were signs of wealth and status. The birds are also taken from a fabulous woven Inca textile."
