COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY FABY REILLY DESIGNS
Here is one more flower to collect in Faby Reilly's exquisite series of floral designs for cross stitch. The magnolia branches are heavy with blossoming petals. The design can either be framed or stitched into a biscornu, the flower wrapping beautifully around the biscornu shape, its curves emphasizing the flowers' own.
The design also includes some interesting specialty stitches such as Queen stitch and a Diamond eyelet over a sequin. Detailed stitch tutorials are included with the chart.
If you are planning to mount it as a biscornu, stitch the matching pattern for the back and find a nice button to sew through the center of the cushion to give it its curvy shape. You might alternatively want to frame it (it works either in a round or square frame, see photo).
