Dreaming Frida
CROSS STITCH PATTERN DESIGNED BY BARBARA ANA
In line with her other cross stitch tributes to the Mexican woman artist, Barbara Ana pictures Frida Kahlo with colorful elements reminiscent of the artist's life and passions. Look close at here flowing mane of hair and you will see large letters forming the words: VIVA LA VIDA.
The piece has been mounted on a small zipped pouch (photo) but you can also decide to frame it. In this case align the base of the stitching with the frame, and leave extra space on the sides and especially the top part. Note: the chart does not include instructions for mounting the pouch.
The cross stitch pattern lists 19 DMC floss colors and is stitched on 32 count Vintage Country Mocha (3009) Linen from Zweigart. You can also stitch it on any neutral color fabric and count of you choice.
