Introducing New Designer
Kateryna, for Stitchy Princess
We are both proud and moved to be presenting the work of Ukrainian designer Kateryna, designing under the Stitchy Princess brand.
Kateryna, lives in Ukraine, and contacted us at the beginning of the war, when her country had just been invaded. She was on the front line and we were more than happy to help. In spite of erratic internet connections, we worked hard together to get her designs up and going on our website, and here we are! We just pray that Kateryna and her loved ones stay safe. We find her incredibly brave to keep designing and working in the terrible circumstances she is going through.
We are however also very proud to be presenting Kateryna's work for its own sake, as we are with all other designers Creative Poppy publishes. Indeed, on top of her fertile imagination and creativity, we find Katheryna has achieved what every true designer aims for, developping a cross stitch style of her own.
Now it's for you stitchers to judge for yourselves.

We are delighted to announce that we are now publishing chart packs for Samantha Purdy Needlecraft. Samantha is a young Canadian designer. We love her contemporary style and the way she captures the simple joys of life in cross stitch.

Riverdrift House Samplers
Creative Poppy is proud to be showcasing the works of British designer Amanda Stevenson, of Riverdrift House.
The designer specializes in beautiful cross stitch samplers inpsired by the British countryside and famous gardens, as well as antique needlework samplers from Britain. All patterns are full cross stitch only, and easy and peasant to stitch.

Trending now: Blackwork designs by Lesley Teare
We've had several reports from shops that Lesley Teare's Blackwork designs, an interesting mix of cross stitch and Blackwork blending black and color, are proving quite popular with stitchers. Lesley Teare is an expert UK designer who has mainly published in British magazines but has now launched her own collection which is published by Creative Poppy.

Discover the work of Shannon Christine Wasilieff
We are pleased to announce we are now publishing Shannon Christine Designs. Shannon is Canadian but first started designing for English needlework magazines.
It is no secret, Shannon is a hopeless romantic. And this is precisely what we love about her designs. The designer follows her heart, drawing very feminine models with a precious feel, adding detail, embellishments, seemlessly combining needlework and beadwork.
One of our favorite models is titled Romance. We like the downright rococo boudoir style and precious feel of these love letters.
The Snow Queen, a graceful ballerina dancing among snow flakes is another popular design, combining cross stitch and beadwork.

British designer Lesley Teare
Lesley Teare has long created cross stitch patterns for cross stitch magazines as well as books. She has a huge experience of cross stitch but is also an expert in Blackwork.
The designer has a keen sense of colour, with very rich and joyful palettes. She also has a sharp eye for detail, especially when charting essential areas of faces and of flowers. Check out these splendid designs!
